This beautiful 1963 Thunderbird was donated by a Lewisville community member. He hoped his classic Ford would be used to train and inspire students who take the Automotive Technology course. Our plan is to give the students the opportunity to modify this car and make it a running, driving, street legal mascot for our program. Our District and Federal Funds go towards technology and equipment to improve our training program, so this project will be accomplished solely through donations from the public. Future modifications: - Upgrade to a disc brake system - Air ride suspension - Full audio/video system - Late model power-train swap (2000 Mustang or similar computer-controlled system) - Complete color change (paint is faded and clear coat is almost gone)
